My chimney smells, what can I do?

Avoid a drafty chimney. When your chimney is not in use, the chimney should be closed with a damper to avoid drafts and heat loss. Consider installing a Top Sealing Damper at the top of your chimney. This will provide a weatherproof barrier when you’re not burning a fire.
